2023 Convention Exceeds All Expectations

Last week’s 2023 ICAS Convention surpassed expectations, strengthening the air show industry's upward trajectory with participation levels and enthusiasm that exceeded pre-convention projections. This year’s convention, which wrapped up last week, has set a positive tone for the upcoming North American air show seasons in 2024 and beyond. Held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the convention brought together 1,504 attendees, which included 781 event organizers from 188 distinct air shows, primarily from the U.S. and Canada.

“With a nearly 10% increase in participation this year, attendance figures were the highest they’ve been since 2018,” said ICAS President John Cudahy. “There was a palpable enthusiasm among the attendees, all focused on strengthening old and new business connections while gearing up for a successful 2024 air show season.”
