The winners of the 2022 ICAS Marketing Competition were announced and celebrated this past December during the annual convention in Las Vegas. After a decade-long hiatus, the updated program returned not only to highlight the exceptional ways ICAS members promote their businesses and airshows but also to provide air show professionals samples of best practices among all segments of the ICAS membership. With twenty-two awards given in thirteen different categories, convention delegates saw a variety of examples to bring into the 2023 air show season.
Along with the Marketing Competition winners, ICAS also announced the winners of the Pinnacle Awards program. Since its establishment in 2014, the Pinnacle Awards program is used as a tool to recognize excellence and professionalism in air show operations and management among ICAS members and “was developed to showcase and explain creative ideas and innovations in all areas of the air show business,” says ICAS director of Marketing and Communications, Adam Glowaski.
