Nominating Committee Announces Slate of Nominees | October 3rd, 2018 |
In accordance with Section 9, Paragraph B3a of the ICAS Bylaws, the 2018 ICAS Nominating Committee has selected its slate of 2018 ICAS Board nominees.
The committee discussed all names submitted and others outside the submittal process. After careful consideration, the Nominating Committee selected Bill Braack of the Oregon International Air Show in Hillsboro, Oregon; Christina Carey of Alliance Air Productions and the Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show in Fort Worth, Texas; and Darcy Brewer of the Califormia Capital Air Show in Sacramento, California. Braack and Carey were each nominated to serve a second three-year term; Brewer was nominated for her first three-year term.
As detailed in Section 9, Paragraph B3b of the bylaws, ICAS members in good standing may seek to have their names added to the ballot using a petition process that requires the signatures of twenty (20) ICAS members. Petition candidates must submit those 20 signatures to ICAS headquarters not later than Wednesday, October 17 at 5:00 p.m. EDT. | |
