ICAS members Neal and Chris Darnell of Darnell Racing Enterprises recently announced that they have purchased the Shockwave Jet Truck and will begin campaigning it on the North American air show circuit beginning in the 2013 season. Built around a 1985 Peterbilt semi cab and powered by three J-34 jet engines, Shockwave was originally built by Les Shockley and is capable of speeds in excess of 350 mph (See this video on YouTube to see Shockwave performing at the 2009 MCAS Miramar Air Show.)
