Heavy Metal Changes Name to Black Diamond | October 27th, 2011 |
| The Black Diamond Jet Team is the new name of the six-ship civilian jet team formerly known as Heavy Metal. The team will retain its pilots, support staff, crew and sponsorship affiliation with United Bank Card. The team also announced that it will add a second MiG-17 in 2012, creating a seven-ship team comprised of five L-39 Albatross aircraft and two MiG-17s. | |
