The ICAS Foundation is seeking nominations for its Air Show Hall of Fame. New inductees will be recognized during the 2011 ICAS Convention, December 4-7 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Air Show Hall of Fame was established in 1995 to recognize individuals who have made a significant contribution to the air show industry and to help educate the air show community about the history of the air show business. Past inductees include Bob Hoover, Lincoln Beachey, Paul Poberezny, Leo Loudenslager, Duane Cole, Curtis Pitts, Jimmy Franklin, Charlie Hillard, and Bill Sweet.
Nominees from all segments of the air show community may be recommended to the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. Closing date for nominating a candidate is July 1, 2011.
