ICAS MARKETING COMPETITION: BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER! After its triumphant return last year following almost a decade-long hiatus, we're thrilled to announce the continuation of the ICAS Marketing Competition this year. Designed to spotlight exceptional air show marketing, this competition presents a golden opportunity for ICAS members to highlight their accomplishments to the wider industry. In line with the dynamic landscape of marketing, we've introduced some fresh changes for this year's competition. Here's your chance to benchmark your marketing endeavors against the crème de la crème of the air show industry.

ICAS PINNACLE AWARDS: CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE Embodying the spirit of professionalism, innovative solutions, and stellar management in the realm of air shows, the Pinnacle Awards stand as a testament to these values. Since its inception in 2014, the award program has spotlighted the industry's most groundbreaking ideas and inspiring initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment where all ICAS members can draw inspiration and insights from one another.

THE ART SCHOLL MEMORIAL SHOWMANSHIP AWARD: DISTINGUISHING THE GREATEST Honoring the remarkable legacy of Art Scholl, a distinguished aerobatic pilot, stellar air show performer, and dedicated ICAS member, the Art Scholl Memorial Showmanship Award is given to an air show act or performer who best embodies the captivating showmanship Art showcased throughout his illustrious career. Over two decades, Scholl enthralled approximately 80 million spectators and left an indelible mark on over 200 films, documentaries, and commercials. Esteemed past awardees include luminaries like Bob Hoover, the Red Baron Pizza Squadron, Rob Holland, Tora Tora Tora, and most recently, Kirby Chambliss.
The primary criterion for selection is pure air show artistry. Entrants should detail the act being nominated, highlight attributes that set the nominee apart in the air show domain, and outline any unique entertainment innovations brought forward by the nominee.

DICK SCHRAM MEMORIAL COMMUNITY RELATIONS AWARD: RECOGNIZING OUTSTANDING COLLABORATION The Dick Schram Memorial Community Relations Award celebrates military bases that go above and beyond in their air show planning and execution. It recognizes those who don't just maintain typical community relations but elevate them by actively involving the community in every phase - from conception to celebration of the event with Ellsworth Air Force Base being the most recent recipient.
This award pays tribute to Commander Dick Schram's enduring legacy of generously imparting his wisdom and expertise to those who sought it.

ICAS SWORD OF EXCELLENCE: CELEBRATING THE BEST The ICAS Sword of Excellence is not just an award, but a recognition of unmatched distinction in the world of air shows. It's a tribute to an individual's entire career, marked by pioneering leadership, unwavering commitment, visionary innovations, and selfless contributions to the very fabric of the air show business.
Since its establishment in 1981, this esteemed accolade has been presented to 47 industry extraordinaries who've left an indelible mark on our industry, with Jim Tucciarone being the honored recipient last year.
