Tucciarone Presented 2022 ICAS Sword of Excellence | December 19th, 2022 |
 During the annual Chairman’s Banquet on the last night of the convention, ICAS member and air boss Jim Tucciarone was named the 2022 recipient of the ICAS Sword of Excellence. “Tucc” was recognized for his leadership, service and selfless contributions to the air show community. He was singled out for the role he has played in helping to get the Air Boss Recognition Program off the ground, for his work as a mentor to new and aspiring air bosses, and for his contributions as an instructor for multiple ICAS education sessions and workshops over the last 30 years. The 48th recipient of the Sword of Excellence, Tucciarone joins a list of past recipients that includes Paul Poberezny, Bob Hoover, Charlie Hillard, Art Scholl, Duane Cole, Bill Bordeleau and Leo Loudenslager. | |
