ICAS Offers Performer Media Training Workshop

For the first time, ICAS will host a media training workshop specifically developed for air show performers. This free, three-hour program will be offered on the morning of Monday, December 12. It will focus on providing air show performers with the training necessary to interact with the media reliably, confidently, and professionally. It will include workshop-style exercises to demonstrate tactics and techniques for communicating your message, providing reporters with the information they need to complete their assignment, and avoiding the common pitfalls of media interaction. The session will be conducted by Morri Berman, one of the nation’s most experienced and widely respected media training consultants in North America. He will draw on nearly 40 years of public relations, crisis communications, and training experience to deliver a program that will provide you with practical tools, helpful insight, and the confidence necessary to interact with reporters comfortably and consistently.

Importantly, successful completion of the Performer Media Training Workshop will be a required pre-requisite for the voluntary ICAS Performer Recognition program to be launched in 2023.
