 The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) announced recently that it has selected Dallas Executive Airport in southwest Dallas, Texas, as the new location for their corporate headquarters. The announcement comes following a twelve-month, 23-city search.
The CAF will move a few staff to Dallas in 2014, with the full transfer coming by the end of 2015. Plans for the new facility include a world-class aviation visitor attraction, including interactive displays, 4D movie experiences, and state-of-the-art flight simulators, as well as the world’s largest fleet of flying vintage military aircraft. Along with the planned year-round public attraction, the CAF plans to hold up to three major events per year; including an annual World War II air show.
