 Bob Carlton’s two jet sailplanes – the one-seat Super Salto and the new two-seat BonusJet – will be featured on a future episode of the History Channel’s Modern Marvels television series following completion of an extensive filming session in New Mexico last fall. The filming session included extensive air-to-air photo missions. The film crew also captured footage of Carlton testing and assembling a new smoke system for the one-seat Super Salto.
The long-running series “celebrates ingenuity, digging into technology breakthroughs and the building of man-made wonders.” The program featuring the jet sailplanes will first air on March 4, 2011.
